Durleighmarsh Farm has always used traditional farming methods in a way that is sympathetic to the environment and the surrounding countryside. As well as enhancing the landscape, the abundant hedgerows, trees and woodland provide a vitally important natural habitat for birds and wildlife. This is a perfect environment for educational and school visits throughout the year.........
Visits
We welcome pre-school and school groups to our Farm Shop and PYO. As an “Outdoor Classroom” we have the perfect environment with lots to see and do and a chance to see and learn how fruit and vegetables grow. Please note that we do not have a covered area so activities are weather dependant but we are open whatever the weather! Our Pick-Your-Own season is June to October but we welcome visits outside these months as well.
• Weekday visits 1-3 hours as required
• Visits for pre-school and school groups welcomed by prior arrangement. Group of up to 30 ideally with adequate adult supervision
• Pre-visit essential, ideally 2 weeks prior to visit for your risk assessment and planning preparation.
