COVID-19

CORONA VIRUS UPDATE:

In the light of recent events, we at Durleighmarsh Farm Shop understand we are still in an uncertain time. Covid-19 is a very serious issue and from Friday 24th July we kindly ask all our customers shopping inside the farm shop to please wear a mask in compliance with the latest government rules.

We can assure our customers for your peace of mind that we continue to maintain the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness. Regular hygiene protocols are managed throughout the day, with staff regularly washing their hands and wearing gloves whilst handling goods. We continuously sterilise commonly touched areas within the shop such as: baskets, freezer and door handles but we do advise for your own protection to wear gloves. Only 3 adult shoppers at a time. There is a protection screen on our main counter top whilst at the fruit picking counter one window is open to aid some screen protection there. Picker’s collect their punnets from this window and on their return weigh their fruit/veg themselves on the scales at the payment window. We have recently purchased a second contactless machine to speed the process of payment and turnaround for pickers to avoid long queues.

With regards to outside in the picking fields, please observe social distancing guidance, we advise wearing gloves and obviously keep your hands clean and please take your rubbish with you, there is a waste bin by the payment window.

Thank you!
